If you have the machine number, serial number, you can notify Garmap in SA that the machine was stolen. In order for someone to upgrade the software, they have to supply the serial number to GARMAP, plus customer details, pay online so there could be a paper trail. Hope this helps.

If it messes around when you turn the handelbar, that would indicate to me that there is a loose connection on one of handel bar switches. I don't think the Instrument cluster as that stays still when you move the bars. I would check the switches and their harnesses for a break in the wire...
