I rescently did nearly 1000km on a weekend with the Aprilia Pegaso Trial. Not very good for technical stuff, but competent enough (for me) on dirt roads and a surprisingly good all-rounder.
Not quite a tourer, but with a few mods like a carrier it would do me just fine. I like that Rotax 650 engine!

I went for a test in October, but it was raining and they couldn't do it if its raining so I had to rebook. Then I couldn't make it as I had to go away and they would not allow me to change the date so I really can't be bothered with their shit any longer. Think I'll try do my test in Swaziland...

The problem then comes with transporting it ..... or do you have a Co2/argon bottle at home.
Most exhaust shops use Co2 and I'm sure if you took it to one they'd be helpfull.....
On 1st Jan 1979 I survived a trip from Dumfries to Birmingham through the worst snow storms for 30 years (at the time). Oh, I was aboard a snow cooled Yamaha RD125.
I rode all year round when I was there for 3 years.
