When I got my first adventure boots, it took me a while to get the shifting right and now I'm okay with it. Recently I got a bit more MX boots and for the life of me, I just cannot shift. I never knew KLR's had so many neutral's. LOL . I'm not lying when I say that after 3 attempts to up shift, I opted to change gears with my hand every now and again.
I've got after market wide footpegs on which I think makes it even worse.
I moved the lever up a few splines, still not working for me.
I've read about the IMS lever, which seems to be longer. Is that a good choice?
I also read about lowering the footpegs, would that be an option?
Or should I just cut the current one and extend it?
