If it is private property they can clamp wheels, shopping malls, businesses etc. However they have to have notifications up that they will clamp and what the removal fee is clearly displayed, if they do not have it then they are liable for civil litigation. Metro's SAPS cannot clamp wheels on...

ride around the areas close to you where you know the roads each day for a week or so to get used to the bike. Find a quite area where you can practise emergency swerving/breaking then bite the bullet and just ride  :ricky:

There is a clampdown on bikes, no plate and disk, bike will be impounded. Impound fee's will be payable on collection of the bike, proof of registration and ownership has to be provided as well. Obscured plate can lead to a charge of defeating the ends of justice as there is proof of "intent"...

Yip all at Randburg

My daughter did her drivers in January, no additional monies paid and she passed first time. Two of my mates have gone for their bike licenses and passed first time without having to grease any palms.
