The Degrees displayed? No. That is outside temp. Can have an affect on the bikes heatguage. All say it runs colder with one bar, can be that you have a problem and it runs warmer now. Agree with the one bar below halfway since the install. However, that goes against Adventurer's statement...

Bike has to 56000kms on it, no new paint. BMW does the servicing. Bit of a mission to get the AM out, have to remove the upper crashbars first. Does this AM affect the temprerure shown on the dash?

I also added the Accelerator Module to the GS. (As I do not ride it daily, it did not make any difference in performance for me.) I am however worried about the bike overheating since then!! The temperature gauge never gets up to even halfway, but I can feel from the amount of heat coming off...

So by just connecting the two positive poles and the two negative poles, the dead battery will get charged. Will this charging possibly drain the functioning battery?

I saw in one of the threads, someone advising to pack a 2m piece of flex cable for jumpstarting. Is this possible? ??? Jumper cables are normally very thick cables.
