My KLR650's front brake switch is bad - the one terminal where the spade connectors clip on to broke off from all the corrosion. I see it is part number 27010-1170 from Kawasaki. Does anyone know a place that could source me it without it costing an arm and a leg? Much appreciated :)

I'm busy installing my rear shock again, but I have noticed a slight (about 1 - 1.5mm) sideways play in the shock mounting where the bottom 'forks' of the shock mount onto the linkage unit. With the bolt and nut installed it has some play, almost as if the two 'forks' of the shock are too wide...

So last night my KLR bliksemed over because the soil it was standing on was a bit saturated. As a result my left mirrir mount broke off flush. It's too dark to see if the mirror is okay but the mount needs replacing. Anyone have a left mount for an 04 klr they are willing to sell me? Thanks dogs

I did it! Won a bet with a friend who said a sprocket wouldn't see even 15'000KM :thumleft: Replaced it with one I bought from Pie for R135-00 incl. It was one of those motrix jobbies. It weighs quite a bit more than the stock, but the 'shoulders' on the cog don't look exactly the same. Still...

My klr seems way down on power since last week. Full throttle is about 140 indicated, regardless of wind. Cleaned the air filter yesterday, plug was gapped 2k km ago, still running unleaded. No odd noises, no backfiring BUT the bike has used quite a bit of oil the past few hundred kilometers...
