Hello guys
So apparently my KLR did not like being ridden on Tuesday because today it refuses to start. It was fine two days ago but now, all I get is a few misfires and it dies.
I tried jump starting it but I have the same problem. Also, it happens regardless of the throttle position and the choke lever position. With the choke fully engaged it will run at around 3000RPM for maybe 5 seconds, but any less choke and it dies. No choke - no start.
I have disabled my kickstart safety switch as well as the clutch bypass. Almost 40'000KM on the odo. I have drained the carb bowl and sloshed the fuel in the tank...fuel does indeed come out the petcock.
I think it might have something to do with yesterday's rain. The bike sleeps underneath a shadecloth cover at night but it does get a tad wet if the wind blows very hard. Any idea where I should start looking?
