One of the things to do is to remove what we call the snorkel (rubber insert in the inlet of the airbox). Makes quite a difference

The hi-tec boots is v-lite altitude ultra lux. Bought the at outdoor warehouse for R650 a couple of years ago. I think they are now R850. Its a neat boot in black with smooth leather that you can polish. I treat mine once a month with leather sealer and the polish.

I use Hi-tec waterproof boots. They are definitely dry in rain and very comfortable. They also cover your ankles

I see they use the numberplate recognition cameras in the Sanral truck to check for outstanding fines/ warrants.
