I ride some serious dirt roads in my 1400 bakkie doing jobs for farmers, lost 3 tyres (sidewall pinched thru) with the standard 12 inch rims. I raised the bakkie and fitted 14inch tyres and rims and havent had a problem since. And the rides smoother!

If their the ones that you use with a plumbers blow torch +/- 200 degrees then ive used it to weld a crack in a tappet cover. It worked well! Wont work where you need high tensile strength!

Did a similar thing lately, got my ta, put it on the centre stand and lowered the suspension! Then drove it for about 8o ks before i realized that the chain was under extreme tension! Id forgotten to adjust the chain. As my old journeyman used to say, these vehicles run in spite of us! not...

wife did her first solo on the ta the other day! No problem with the gears clutch etc. Jst said its a bit heavy (180kgs) shes happy to ride her 2oo and gain confidence! (shes come off twice so far!)

We bought a protrax 2oo chinese scrambler for 5k. And my wifes been learning on that! Shes very comfortable with it.

At the stag in newcastle ouks were doing donuts till their tyres exploded! These are not bikers wouldnt want to associate with posers like that!
