Hi all, I rode that section yesterday from G Gate to Harrismith, returning from the Eco. There is a well marked detour of about 5km on a very good road. No holes or craters. Even the "pretty bikes" can do this detour. The section to Oliviers is still a mess for some and fun for others.

I ve done the 175, 250 thing for many years and then the 1200 GS. I was scared s.........s until i went and did the basic offroad and proficiency courses at BMW. Unbelievable how simple little things can make such a difference. In my opinion the courses are a must. Dont forget to practice...

Naa! Windguru says dry tomorrow and slight drizzle Tuesday. Thats why we ride tractors with screens. :biggrin:
