I am trying to confirm the condition of the road From Thaba Tseka, via Taung in the direction of Mokhotlong. I last rode it in 2015 and the road crews were very busy improving it. Is it suitable for an average ability rider with a passenger?

Thanks Guys, Looks like the shorter duration and changing the dates (and therefore reducing the costs) has suited more people.

There have been requests to shorten the duration of this ride. Original dates were 28/5 - 6/6. Due to requests I have shortened it to 31/5 - 6/6 thus leaving out the Trennerys leg of the ride. This also means only 5 days leave needed as opposed to 7. The riders will meet at Kob Inn on Sunday...

So true Buff. Riding in the Transkei is nothing short of breathtaking. From incredible routes to fantastic scenery, wonderful food and lodging with a bunch of like minded riders. Can't get much better than this.

Some of the guys are opting to leave out the Trennerys "Funduro" and only riding the Kob Inn section. This cuts the amount of days "off" you need. Especially if you have to drive a long way to get there. If you only do the Kob Inn section then you only need 5 days leave. Arrive Sunday 31st...
