06 spark / start problem

Need help guys , recently my fugly start to give starting problems , thought it was the sidestand switch , so remove it completely and bridge the switch at the harnass end  , problem continues and had the battery replace , problem continues , had dirtcopper helped me to clean the carb , no problems there and it was actually really clean . Afterwards checked the fuel flow , still won't start . Then discover that it sparked sometimes , sometimes not , so went to buy a new sparkplug resistor cap with a new sparkplug  , replaced it , checked the spark again and still does the same : sometime it spark , sometimes not . Anyone can tell me what the problem might be ? Can it be the bogey cord itself or even the coil ? Really need help . Don't have any  electrical background at all
