I always wanted a V twin. One of the main reasons I stayed with BMW so long is the fact that they had a service center close by and KTM was on the other side of the earth. so to speak...
KTM Paarl completly changed this now as I work in Paarl and stay in Somerset west.
A 990R 2010 model became available and my head is turning..(ODO 54k..is this too high for a 990?)
Was the long suspension travel a success? If so, why was it changed 20/11-12 onwards?
How does the 990R compare to the 1090.
I am a secondhand buyer ..
Please respond if you have knowledge of both.
I recently started doing overnight trips again and +4hr trips on my HP2 is getting tiring - and I am not a spring chicken anymore, but the passion never dies!
I was contemplating to post in either the 990 or 1090 boards, but knew the opinions might be very biased...
And in the HP2 board the activity is negligible at the moment
