took my bike to RAD today to have the air box checked out as requested by RAD
stood by when air box was opened - was fairly clean after the air filter, but some dirt had settled on the butterfly closest to the filter - I have done basically no dirt roads....
I chatted to some folks at RAD and there has been at least one 1190 engine "ruined" by dirt getting past the filter - as a temporary solution, some grease was used to seal the sides of the filter - KTM are working on a permanent solution
BIG UP to RAD for being the 1st (AFAIK) to discover and act on the problem :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:
Anybody here that is doing a lot of dusty riding, should have their bikes checked out ASAP I would say :deal:
