M question is more of a concern than a problem , I use my 1190 for long rips only , did a service in lockdown , all fine. Over the long weekend end September we did a long ride . since then bike was parked . I decided to hook up my battery charger just to make sure battery gets a work out :ricky:. With the seat removed I did a quick general check and found the oil level was low , below line 3 , added some oil to top up , about 300ml , full to top :'( . Last night i started the bike let it warm up and level was up , this has me wondering if the engine hides a bit of oil when cold and not used for some time ? I am aware that overfull will cause some oil being blown into the air box , ok with that , rather a bit to high that to low .
Also aware that synthetic oils tend to " boil' out the exhaust when very hot , so a bit of oil loss is normal . Using MOTUL 7100 T4
