I have a 1989 3AJ XT Tenere with both electric starter and kickstarter. A while ago something broke on the electric starter. Sent the bike in to have it repaired so that I can at least use the kickstarter. However, the morons that worked on the bike did something and now it does not want to start at all. There's nothing happening and I think it may be the timing. Can anybody please help explain how to check the timing or am I wasting my time trying to do it myself.
