Please note that this is sold as a project bike. I bought it with that in mind but have other projects that takes priority at the moment.
I bought it with the only mechanical fault disclosed being a rear diff ‘problem’. There is no funny noises apart from an obvious leaking seal. My knowledge on this is however limited so please don’t quote me.
I have since noted that the abs light comes on and goes off repeatedly when ignition is switched on.
Obvious cosmetic challenges:
Smiley in front rim, only on the one side.
Exhaust is ugly and the previous owner must at some stage had an idea to cut it off since there is a cut just in front of the silencer.
Slight dent in tank.
Rear of LHS pillion peg hanger broken off.
Will need new tyres.
Carrier rack was welded on the one side.
Battery is flat and might need replacement.
Seat has a couple of tears.
Bike starts and rides.
Ideally sold upon viewing by buyer or by someone on his/her behalf.
Mileage only 98,993km so lots of life left.
Comes with new oil filter, air filter and fork seals. Fork seals not leaking, bought as preventative maintenance once I would get round to the project.
