Hi there Fellow Dogs
I have a 2011 KTM 990 Super Duke R with 8200kms on the clock
I filled up at BP on Wednesday as the fuel price went up, put fuel in at BP (unleaded) and went home and parked the bike for 2 hours, i went back to the bike to go down to the shop and as i started the bike it made a loud backfire and sounded as if it was running on one cylinder, there was no power and sounded like a very sick bike. To pull away i had to drag the clutch and give it alot of revs if not the bike would cut out and i would struggle to start the bike. The bike had no power and would struggle to ride. I drove it back home and called my mechanic and he replaced the Front and Rear plugs but that didn't solve the problem, there was a very strong smell of fuel and even before i had the problem i could always smell a strong aroma of fuel as if it was running rich
Has anyone had the same problem
Please help
Regards
