The plan: lets go to Swaziland for a weekend for a ride.
Date: last weekend of Feb, 27 - 1 March.
Sounds fairly simple and definitely doable!
Until I get the call on Thursday (26 Feb) that the seal on the counter shaft of the KLR is not sealing anymore... (why? lets call it a maintenance oops)
Well with half a day still to get this sorted before we leave, we continue with the plans...
a very long story short: after every person that has something to do with a KLR has been contacted /plan b: we all ride a 5L oil extra/a 140km round trip it was 5:30pm on Friday evening and the bikes is on the back of the bakkie, new seal fitted. :ricky:
We get to the Oshoek border post at about 20:00 to be welcomed by a end of the month queue of note!
The border crossing took a pleasant 2:30, but we where in swazi.
After getting lost we arrived at Bombazo's back packers in Mbabane @ about 24:00 to find the other two was already sleeping.
Klapped a couple of black lables, shared the story of getting there and went to bed.
Now this is the view one should have the when you wake up in swazi and get out of your room!!!!!!!
