I had my 2003 650gs serviced at 29 000km and had the rear brake pads replaced at the same time. I had previously put in a set of Ferodo Platinum pads at 15 000km and had had no problems with them.
The new pads lasted less than 200km and were replaced at no charge. The second set also lasted less than 200km.
From what I've read it may be that the Platinum pads were replaced with sintered pads and that this change has damaged the disc itself?
Does this mean that I have to replace the whole disc?
Any advice would be appreciated.
