I recently got a 2011 990 with 16000km and find that the gearbox get stuck in 6th gear sometimes when trying to gear down, this happens mostly when driving it hard. The way to get it out of 6th then is to slow down and eventually it shifts down when the bike is at low speed, like about 2nd gear speed.
I have read up quite a bit on the Internet but can't find much info on the exact issue, any suggestions?
