I’ve got a customer’s 990 in for a LED inficator job as well as some clutch work. Some assumptions were made on whether it had a hazard switch, which were disproven as he stopped and I saw the empty triangular hole in the dash. So, rather than replacing a flicker unit and splicing in some indicators, I’m in for some surgery. I guess I’m going to have to bypass the hazard and join the indicator wires there and splice in the flicker unit into the source wire to the switch. But I don’t really have time for experimentation. Did somebody keep record of their job or have links to a successful conversion, please?
