50% of the time when I fire up the 990R it idles very high, around 3000rpm. I stays like that untill the time I switch it off. The other half of the time when it is started up it idles at normal idle rpm and stays like that till it is switched off. It is quite uncomfortable especially when riding hard and needing the engine backpressure for braking and not keeping some acceleration mixing up judgement and causing turns to creep up to you.
I have tried resetting TPS settings, nada.
