990S Cutting Out When Changing Gears

My 990 started this problem a few weeks back and it seems to increase as I go along.

Whilst riding the engine will just cut out specifically when I change gears. Pull the the clutch, close throttle, change gear and then the sudden deceleration.  I normally just drop the clutch to get it running again, but when your in traffic it becomes a real pain in the ass, especially when kleinboet in his Golf next to you wants to "dice"...

Any ideas what can cause this problems?  ??? ???
