Ok OK so I am stuck in Scotland and the KAK is that most people live in flats but I have a dwelling with a walled garden! however as I found when I got my big orange beauty home the bars are wider than the gate - also complicated by the fact that there are three steps down from the gate. To save me further embarrasment from my father in law waiting for me to POS over again in trying to negotiate the ramp and the gateway. I am trying to devise a solution. looking at making an aluminium gate clad in Vastrap with a tilt and turn function so that normally it works like a gate but when I need to get out it swings down to become a ramp. ideas please
oh will need to make a new frame anyway too so proposed designs can get clever. have access to milling machines benders and weldors.
