I need some help, advice and opinions. I am looking to buy my first ktm and the idea is to use it to get me to work and back sometimes (15km gravel + 15km tar one way) and I also want to be able to play and go places on weekends. I'm 1.84 and 85kg.
I am considering the 525 and the 450 exc/xcw (around 2007 model) and would like to know which will work best. I was convinced that it will be the 525, but after reading some of Safeman's stuff I'm not sure anymore.
The bike will have to be (made) roadworthy. How many hours are too many if I'm looking to buy one? I hear that the engine needs to be rebuilt after 200hrs?
I would appreciate your input. And please don't confuse me with any other makes or models that " will be better for what you want to do" I'm sold on one of these... ???
