I am reading and learning as much as I can but I need some advice please.
In fear of my new 84 R80 GS project running away from me I would really like to add a nice PD tank and upgrade the suspension.
Mechanically I would be happy to do a nice 4 to 5 thousand kilometer Namibia trip which is my intention but I have concerns about the suspension , particularly the back shock which is the original shock from new. I worry that the shock will not handle me and some luggage. Before you ask I am a fat ass weighing in at 108kg,s plus luggage at at least 20kg's will it handle it, what are the alternatives, where do I buy the alternatives, and what would a cost estimation be?
Are there any big tanks available ?
Is it worth it ? as I have other bikes as well.
