Advice - Tenere 660 lowering Back and Front ?

Hi Guys
I am lowering my brothers Tenere 660 for him. Bought the links from Yamaha Pard.

Is it necessary or a good idea to lower the front. (to me it is best to do the front as well)
If so
Question is what is the calculation to lower the front. Do I lower it the same amount or do I use a specific formula.
I dont like playing with suspension at best.

Any advice appreciated.
