I have been contemplating this change for a long time and after my last flat front tire decided it was time.
I am starting this thread a little late as I am a short way into it but here goes the list of things that must be done.
- replace front suspension (CR upside down shocks)
- replace pistons and all gaskets of top assembly and thus a re-bore first over size
- replace fairing with Boano lookalike (Superfoxi) having a mold made up for this.
- have engine cover epoxy cote (currently in process)
- triple clamps must be modified to fit steering head. (done)
- re-paint frame
- modify small sub frame at back to change the look of her ass (done)
- stickers and paint on new fairing
- front suspension spring modification
-modify clocks to fit new fairing
Maybe I missed one or two things but will mention as I progress.
This thread will also show me how long it takes to complete and put some pressure on me.
I will include some pics now of progress or destruction made up to now, but will post as it progresses to the finished product from here forth.
