Right.
So long involved story short, my 1290 is gone and I’m getting a Husky.
What are the options to stop the useless fucking KTM airbox letting dust in?
It boggles my mind that after the 1190 drama, the worlds leader in OFFROAD motorcycles can’t design a dust proof airbox.
It seems the Powerparts prefilters doesn’t fit on the husky with the 2 piece seat. Are there any other options? UNIfilter with the intake runner socks?
Seems to me the biggest weak link are the airbox drains…2 big holes on the “clean” side of the airbox seems retarded.
Edit: ok seems the drain holes are on the dirty side. But yeh, the picture I took of the “clean” side of a demo bike is very worrying.
