I'm a biker, but also a kwat biker  :ricky:

Yeah yeah, had the kwat abuse in my life too much  :laughing4:

I have a Renegade 800 quad. It has the 800 Rotax V twin motor in, and you buy it at the old Bombardier, now Can Am Dealers, Waterworld etc.

Some prices that got me scared, only found this out after purchasing.

Normally, if something is expensive, the parts are reasonable, if the bike or quad is cheap, parts are hectic expensive. Well, normally that is the norm, I know BMW bike parts and accesories are just as expensive as the bike itself !

The quad is now R165 000.
Full 4 wheel drive CVT blah blah the works.

Some prices, some I bought, some I just asked for.

Rear tail light lense cover R800.
CV boot rubber, it has 8. R720 each.
One sideshaft, it has 4. R3 500 each.
CVT drive system, replace in case of failure R48 000.
Frame, it has one frame, no sub frame. R65 000.
Thermostat R580.
Plastics, and you all know all round plastics is not that much. R34 000.
Tyres. It has 4 ha ha. R1600 each.
Front Bumper thingy R 4500.
Rear grabbar thingy R3500.

Nah heck, if I knew all this I wouldv'e bough a new GSA 1200 rather!!!

I had a few quads in my life, Suzuki, Yamaha etc, but none were THIS expensive to keep on running  >:D

Pic of the kwat just before my trip at Mac Mac in the Mountains for the peeps who are not familiar with a Can Am
