My 15 yr old Daughter has wanted to go back to Die Mond Camp as long as i can remember since we camped there once as a family,
yes,and that day i got a flat wheel in the car,lol.
Anyway , the plan is to meet this Friday at the Engen One Stop , (Wynlands) N1at 13h00
1.Wellington
2,Baineskloof
3.Ceres
4.Gydo pass to Katbakkies pass on a different route !
5. Padstal
6. Bike X Cape braai Sleepover Friday & Sat , Sat, optional / Book yourself with Michelle / +27766567853
you can Come up on Sat,but we will be at Die Mond then.
You must bring a Lilo or be a good swimmer,
Sat, we go to Die Mond, take off our bike kit, put you takkies or hiking boots on,
We be hiking up River to where we get tiered of all the bushman paintings,
Pillion yr Son or Daughter up with u , they will never forget this trip,,
Once we get far up the river,its off with the shoes,cameras and such into dry bags, blow up yr Lilo and float ,paddle back down the river to Die Mond Camp.
Possibly stopping at one or two caves on the way back.
Maybe braai some wors back at the camp , before kitting up and back to Bike X Cape for a sundowner / braai.
Sonday morning,
Im taking my daughter,when i get her up, for a walk on the farm into thr veld to look for some rare stone !
