Friday one of my friend told me that there is some liquid on the side of my bike at the water pump. My bike has 27k km on the clock. after washing it Saturday I took it for a 50km drive and well there is a leak, I checked and it is oil, after 50km it was not a lot but just enough to be visible.
I pulled the dipstick and the oil was low so I topped it up.
Now my question is did someone get a DIY fix for this, I did try to read up on the forum and it looks that the problem occurs very often to the twins after 20k but it seems that everybody talks about a R3K replacement.
The bike is a 2013 model and is out of warrantee.
Maybe that is why BMW was pushing me to trade it in after 2 years???? :dousing:
