Anyone used this type of bike dolly in neighbouring countries?

I own one of these bike dollies which I want to use to transport my DRZ to Addis Adeba behind a car, and then ride my bike back to RSA. As far as I know a tow bar dolly like this is perfectly legal in SA as long as the bike is legal and on the road, and the car's lights and number plates are not obstructed. But what about our neighbouring countries, will I pick up shit if I try to transport a bike this way in Moz, Malawi, Kenia, Tanzania? I'm taking my friends Land Cruiser up to Addis Adeba and thought, instead of flying back I might as well ride my bike back down. Any thoughts will be appreciated, thanks.
