My friends and I are planning to do a big motorcycle trip starting next year from South Africa !!
We plan to buy motorcycles there (we are thinking of CRF300) and we will need to register it on our name to be able to cross boarders easily.
Do you have any information about to make a registration as a foreigner (and non resident) in South Africa ?
Some people told us crossing borders with registration in another name is not a problem, you just get a letter from the person in whose name it is registered. We are planning to go all the way to Mozambique, tanzania, Kenya, Uguanda, Rwanda, Burundi, Zambia, Botswana.
What do you think about this ? Is this a reliable method to cross borders ?
