I could not believe it.. a group of us including a guy that lives in Humansdorp went for a ride in state owned forest, he sets the Hellgat enduro in this part. I was riding behind him down a rocky hill and slowed into a corner going into a young forest, the next thing he is on the brakes and I bash into his back tyre..there is so much dust i can't see what he is shouting about..then I see it...a thin steel wire tensioned between two strong trees...exactly neck height, this would have taken his head off! We cutt it down and kepy away from that area. Apparently this is common grazing area a couple off weeks ago a bunch off moogoos, clearly not caring about cattle and how they scare easily, killed one, a local living close by clearly took a bad turn about this and resorted to this horrific method...I still get chills thinking about it!
