Best tyres for on/off road

My bike has Michelin Sirac front and rear.  I commute from Centurion to Sandton, but I would like to go off-road weekends.  Can the fundis recommend the best dual purpose tyres, please?  Or should I get another set of rims and tyres for weekends?
