Anyone know which tyre dealers balance your wheels after fitting a new tyre? I don’t believe the scenario I was given at my last new tyre change …
Story was:
The rim is balanced at the factory with the original weight attached at present. The tyres are shipped balanced (Anakee) and fitting them “balanced”, simply means making sure the bar code is located at the valve?????
Can anyone confirm my suspensions that this is not true? My reason for believing this to be “a story” is that my old tyre had raised sections, as in knobs and un-even wear, which leads me to believe that the wheel was out of balance!
