BMW 650 Dakar (extras)

I just acquired an immaculate 2004 Dakar which is my first adventure bike and I am so stoked it's not even funny, the bike is truly phenomenal. I would like to know if there is anyone on the forum that owns a Dakar fitted with one of those 39L Touratech tanks. Would a tank like this not be beneficial for long tours through the Northern Cape and Namibia? Also I would like advice on fitting a better exhaust pipe to the bike to improve sound effect and performance as well as advice on spotlights and any other extras that I could fit to the Dakar to make touring better. Thanks
