Hi everyone,
I have a 2001 BMW F650GS Dakar for sale with just over 81 000km on the clock that I want to sell for around R33k. The bike is in daily use for my commute from Stellenbosch to the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, doing just under 100km's a day. I got a good deal on a F800GS so this one unfortunetely has to go :'(.
I bought the bike from Donford Motorrad in Stellenbosch in the beginning of the year with 70 000km on the clock, they serviced it and replaced the front and rear sprockets, the chain and the steering bearings plus the front and rear tyres. The bike also went in for its 80 000km service on 2012/11/02 where they replaced the engine oil, topped up the shock oil, replaced the spark plug and checked the valve clearances.
The tyres have about 50% thread left if I make an accurate judgement. It still has its original BMW Toolkit under the seat, the spare keys are available and as well as all the booklets, service schedule and riders manual. I also have the full service manual on PDF which is very handy when doing repairs yourself.
The bike unfortunetely does not have any extras except for a BMW Tank Bag, the other standard equipment includes the hand guards, sump guard and the high screen which works.
The registration documents are already with me so they will be supplied with the purchase.
If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations please feel free to contact me.
