BMW R50 (500cc).
1958/59.
This BMW has split engine & frame numbers.
The Frame is 1958.
The Motor is 1959.
This bike goes extremely well and starts very easily.
The motor was rebuilt for the previous owner.
I have had some electrics done.
It has two brand new tyres & serviced.
The bike is fitted with a single seat.
Double touring seat available with the luggage rack.
I have fitted bar-end flickers, however for this vintage flickers were not required.
It is also fitted with a "Winter" fairing. Been told I should remove it, I think it adds to the character.
The bike is Southern African Vintage Vehicle registered (SAVVA).
It is fully licenced and up to date & registered in my name.
It really runs well and I use it for breakfast runs etc. with much pleasure.
It needs some cosmetic work done, which was my next project.
Reason for selling : Retired now & downsizing.
