I have had a similar problem as mentioned in other threads where my F800gs seems to splutter and even die when accelerating. Spoke to Steve at Northside and they are certain its the fuel pump.
So I got one from Midas.
Now because I am trying to learn alot about the bike and how to fix things myself (for incase I am stuck in the middle of nowwhere) I got them to show me what to do. This all seemed easy.
Went home and started. The task of replacing it all isn't too hard at all, but because I was impatient I broke the plastic nipple on the top where the fuel line comes out.
Bmw is closed cause its Sunday. Just to put my nerves at ease, does anyone know if I wil be able to get that plastic part separately?
