Read a FB post on the topic , and the poster was enquiring why so many items for sale and its always 'worn once" . I do understand the situation , as I have been there , bought kit and then after wearing it on one trip find it does not tick the box for me . Or a nearly new pair of boots are put up for sale , question is always why ? why are you selling the nearly new boots ?
Now I am aware some guys will not buy pre owned kit , excuse is always it could "smell" but it can be washed , and think of it this way , the new jacket in the shop could have been tried on by many prospective buyers , so good advise would be to wash your new jacket , before putting it into service , same with used , If in nearly new condition a wash is all it needs .
I have saved big money , keeping my ear to the ground and buying bargains.
What my question is , do you /would you buy used kit , or no never , only new ?
