Hello dogs, I am traveling to Cape Town from Canada with my son in mid-October and hope to buy a couple decent used dual purpose bikes in the 650 cc range for 4 months touring north on east side as far as Kenya then looping around Lake Vic. to other side and back to RSA to sell the bikes and catch a flight home. So, how difficult is it to register the bikes in our names? Will just giving an address (of a friend) do the trick or is it more complicated than that? We are going to try to do it without a carnet.
Any advice on the process and potential problems/solutions much appreciated.
