Cape Town, Botswana, Namibia and back, in 3 weeks. I have never been to Botswana, and am not really comfortable in sand. Namibia I have done and happy with, but Botswana I am not sure.
If I stay out of the thick sand, are there interesting roads that are preferably not tar, I can do to Caprivi Strip?
Is 3 weeks long enough (I don’t want to just blast though a trip)?
What “must do” places should I be looking at in Botswana? (and the whole trip?)
I intend to do this trip in September/October this year, when is the rain season?
My last trip to the Sothern Namibia in 2013 was a great, but that took 17 days, so I am concerned I am trying to cram too much in.
I am sure there are dogs than know more than me about this, and appreciate any feedback.
