My 700GS is now close to its 30k service, I was wondering when do I need to change sprockets and chains?
I don't ride very hard and is still on the original tyre for the rear the front got damaged by a nail.
I looked at gear commander and the bike has a 17/42 sprocket combination, but when I select 19/41 it gives me the best wear figures and also the best RPM at 120km/h
How much torque will I loose if I go 2 teeth up on the front?
I know that 19 and 41 are standard sprockets because the 19 comes off the 800R and the 41 comes from the 650GS so it wont be to difficult to source.
