Hi folks

I took my T800 for a quick spin around the neighborhood after fitting my LV slip on and was helmetless, heard the infamous chain clunk that has been discussed in length on some of the overseas forums, the common denominator appears to be that the chain is banging the underside of the swingarm.

Has anyone else had this problem as our colleagues overseas are starting to exert some pressure on Triumph with this problem, some say it is the centrestand, there has been a recall for the spring to be replaced, some advise to tension the chain however the clunk  is still evident and others have said that they were gong to fit some padding under the swingarm where the chain is banging it. One has fitted a chain tensioner which seems to be doing the job, any one else experienced this or is it normal for a chain and sprocket setup.
