i understand most parts of the engine but the clutch is a bit of a mystery to me

my bike is going to towards 100 000km and i starting to think that its time for a refresh on the clutch

i see at wemoto that they sell a set of friction plates for more or less R600

on max bmw's site i see the part numbers have been deprecated and the friction plates and the other plates are not longer sold

i just assumed it is the newer part numbers used on the sertoa - but there they do not sell the 2 sets of plates separately - it is sold as a unit for both sets for more or less R2600

so do you just replace the friction plates or do you actually have to replace both sets ???

i was under the impression that the steel plates are not usually replaced - or am i wrong ???

what else do i need to look at ???
