Corning cookware on tour or camping

Corning Ware - those white porcelian oven dishes that the wife uses . .    with a clear glass lid.

Has anyone used them as an alternative to stainless steel pots while on a long tour / or camping

I find that my stainless steel pots a pain in the butt and am looking for easy to clean alternatives.
