On my way to the inlaws in Rheebok this past weekend I opted for the Langkloof road and from Avontuur through the Prince Alfred pass to Knysna, unfortunately by car.
Consequently I've decided that I will redo the pass with the bike very soon. Are there any joiners? I don't have a set date yet but it will most probably be within the next couple of weekends. I have already gathered 3 non WD members that will also go. My planning, (I'm open for suggestions), is as follows.
Leave early Saturday morning, take the langkloof road, Avontuur through to Plett or Knysna. Sleep over in either of the said towns. Leave early Sunday morning back home, which in my case is PE.
Any advice from WD members that traversed this route? i.e. places to stay / see.
